On December 10th, 2024, a press event was organized in The Life Goddess Store Street restaurant, as part of the EU-funded initiative, “Information provision and promotion measure on rice in Jordan, United Kingdom, Israel, and UAE”—EURICE TC. Organized under the theme “European Rice” by the Agricultural Corporate Partnership of Thessaloniki, Easth S.A..

The occasion attracted a wide array of professionals from the food industry, all keen to explore the subtleties of European rice. Keynote presentations were delivered by influential figures such as Mr. Giannopoulos, General Manager of EASTH SA; Maria Nalmpanti, Head of Information & Promotion Projects at Novacert, the implementing body of the program; and Mr. Homam Ayaso, the Food Ambassador of the program in the UK. These talks illuminated various aspects of European rice, enhancing the attendees’ understanding and appreciation.

The event culminated with a dinner that featured dishes incorporating European rice, allowing guests to experience its distinctive flavors and characteristics firsthand. The evening was not only informative but also a delightful gastronomic journey, highlighting the versatility and quality of European rice.
