On the 1st of April 2019 at the Four Seasons Hotel, a press gathering followed by a tasting dinner was held for the purpose of launching the “European Rice” program on the Lebanese market. A Greek business delegation visited specially Lebanon for the event. The Greek chef Mastrodimitris Georgios was one of speakers on behalf of the Union of Rice Agricultural Cooperatives, along with members from the campaign’s executive organization. Figures from the media and F&B wholesale industry, key retailers and importers enjoyed a conference around the benefits of the Greek rice. The speakers revealed the promotion and expansion plan for the 3 upcoming years in Lebanon.
