The Gulfood Trade Show Fair is the most important annual exhibition in the Middle East in the field of Food & Beverage and one of the leading exhibitions in the world.
The 2022 exhibition hosted more than 4,000 exhibitors – and 120 national booths – showcasing products from across the food and beverage sector. Among them are innovative new products, as well as international commercial brands. Exhibitors and visitors to the exhibition each year include international chefs and experts, producers, marketers, restaurant and hospitality owners, and industry leaders. The exhibition was visited this year by more than 100,000 trade visitors from 191 countries. The exhibition was carried out with all the security measures provided by the protocol of the organizers for participation in the exhibition, such as the mandatory use of a mask, the observance of distances and indications with the maximum number of people in each stand depending on the sq.m. and the possibility of tasting the product in special areas of the stand.

The participation of trade visitors in this year’s event seems to be returning to the numbers of the pre-coronavirus years and definitely at much better levels compared to last year’s exhibition, which was organized with stricter security measures and in the midst of the pandemic.
The stand of the program was centrally located in the legume and cereals sector, where there was a large number of visitors, while during the exhibition a live cooking show was held in the specially designed area of the stand, with the chef inviting visitors to the exhibition, tasting of unique recipes that highlighted European rice. The 10-minute or 2-minute video of the program was played on the kiosk screen, while the promoters distributed leaflets, informed the visitors and offered to the important visitors the rice book of the program.
